My name is Meta Mezan, known as Mona Mouse. I was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, but I live and create in the United Kingdom.
The complexity of the world around us and within ourselves is reflected in the layering, concealment and discovery of natural contradictions.
My work examines the duality in the perceived world, and the tensions between the contrasts through a limited, but strong colour palette and controlled uncontrollability.
